When you walked through the door at Mayo Clinic London, you're going to feel like you are being treated with the utmost of care and attention. And so addressing their overall well-being and health is really critical to how I practice. And particularly when I'm dealing with patients and families have genetic heart conditions. I want to consider all the aspects of their condition that may be causing them distress. I don't want to just focus on the patient and their physical ailments alone. So my personal philosophy and approach to patient care is really a holistic one. And really I think I made the right decision in the end. And so I became really focused on medicine from an early stage in school. But my cousin had become a doctor and he was a lot older than me and I really respected him. One is because it hadn't been a tradition in my family. And I really focus on the rhythm of the heart and genetic disorders related to the rhythm of the heart. I am a cardiologist, which means I'm a heart specialist. Behr, MBBS, MD, FRCP, FESC, Consultant Cardiologist: My name is Elijah Behr.
